The Mills community has been divided into those who made the merger happen, those who are working to make it successful, those who are still skeptical, and those who have turned away from Mills. Unofficially Mills is an attempt  to keep our connections outside the previous entities. We are interested in creating events, sharing information and  resources, and providing a platform for networking and collaboration.

 Just let us know who you are and what you represent - as in what your connection to Mills is/was. We’ll add you to our Directory .

We would love to provide opportunities for learning, networking, and having fun with each other in ways that feel welcoming, celebratory of what’s great about our community, and emotionally safe. Are you interested in organizing or attending workshops, seminars, networking events, and/or social gatherings? Let us know! 

We have organizational and technical processes and procedures in place via Go Daddy to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. 

- Consent. We collect only the information you disclose to us. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact admin@unofficiallymills.org. 

- Sharing. Your personal information will be included in our on-line Directory. It will be password protected. You will have access to view the Directory. We anticipate the Directory will be available for viewing by the end of the year (2023). 

- Marketing & Promotions. You can expect occasional communications sharing news, promoting events, activities, volunteer needs, etc. You can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails we send.

Unofficially Mills is an ad hoc group of Mills College alums who are volunteering their time to create and maintain this entity. The group is currently exploring non-profit status and fundraising capabilities. We welcome all who wish to join us in the "behind the scenes" development, maintenance and visioning of this group.
